Drama Instructor
It’s the start of the new term and we are on the lookout for talented, motivated and enthusiastic young people, who enjoy working with children to join our rapidly expanding team in the role of after school drama instructors. shake & stir theatre co is a contemporary youth company with its base in Fortitude Valley. Established in 2006, shake & stir is now one of the most exciting, dynamic companies of its type in QLD. This job is the perfect opportunity to join other like-minded individuals in a creative environment and earn great money while working in an area we all know and love – the performing arts! As a Drama Instructor with shake & stir, you will be in charge of up to 15 primary school students and over the course of the school term will lead fun drama-based activities and work with the students in putting on performances. These classes are a great chance to fine-tune both your teaching skills and your skills as an actor. Classes take place between 3:00 and 5:30pm every school week afternoon. Working hours are flexible and can be worked around part time jobs or uni. Relevant tertiary degree desired but not required. All training provided. Contact us NOW to apply or for more information.
