THE BOY, THE BEAR, THE BARON, THE BARD

THE ADORED PICTURE BOOK, LIVE ON STAGE

It started with a boy, a ball and a backyard. The boy, playing with his ball kicks it across the fence. A window breaks. While retrieving his ball, the boy unwillingly finds himself on the stage of the world’s most famous theatre with the Bard by his side. What follows is pure midsummer magic framed by a whimsical chase through the streets of Elizabethan London.  THE BOY THE BEAR THE BARON THE BARD is a live theatre adaptation of Gregory Rogers’ much-loved picture book that tells the story of a curious boy, a grumpy bard, a disgruntled bear and a frustrated baron whose head is bound for the chopping block brought to life by three dynamic performers.

shake & stir theatre co’s production of THE BOY THE BEAR THE BARON THE BARD is a visual feast combining narrative, digital projection and a whole heap of fun.

FIND YOUR OWN SPARK

Typphanie and Carlos are misfits. They never wear the right clothes, own the right gadgets or say the right thing. When Typphanie discovers a strange looking remote control during her weekly archaeological dig (in her Dad’s back yard) things start to change. Armed with their new secret weapon, Typphanie and Carlos begin to rule the school, but they soon realise that being popular isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Tackling themes of bullying, confidence and the difference between right and wrong, THE REJIGGITYBOT is a perfect addition to your primary Wellbeing calendar.
